Ladies matches are due to complete end of March for the winter season with some good results particularly in the 40’s A, 50’s B team and 60’s team all to play for! Our 50’s A team in Div 1 is proving far too tough and likely to drop down next year. Will report end of season results next month
Looking towards our Summer leagues:
4 teams have been entered into the Herts Hot rackets leagues
2 teams will be entered into the Herts 3 pair league.
Once captains are confirmed we can share this out next month.
The over 70’s summer league hasn’t run for a few years but will re-start this summer. Kate has reached out to those members eligible to play to see if this is something of interest. Please do email [email protected] if you are eligible and wish to play. It’s a 2 pair 2 rubber event of 2 sets each rubber. Deadline is 14th Feb to enter and we need a minimum of 5 in the team.
Summer Friendlies:
Lynn Frankling will be organising these matches again this Summer. If any improving players would like to start playing matches, this would be ideal for you. Please contact Lynn at [email protected].

Please let Tony Ward know via [email protected] if you would be interested in running the fourth Summer Datchworth team.
Also, the Mid Herts Mixed League (historically called the mixed friendlies) starts up in late April or early May. Historically we have used a mix of senior and improving players in this league, for many it is an introduction to competitive tennis.
